This story is about showing kindness and helping other's. Kindness simply means being good to other's. In this story there was a little boy named Tom . Tom was a cheeky , happy little boy . And he used to sweep the smallest tallest chimneys of the town. His boss was Mr. Grimes. Mr. Grimes was a horrifying man who treated Tom very badly . If Tom made a mess while cleaning the chimneys, Mr. Grimes would shout at him in a roaring voice .

Every once in a while, Mr. Grimes would take Tom to a huge palace to clean chimneys. Tom was cleaning the chimneys of the huge palace, then suddenly he fell down a chimney into a room which was unknown to him. There was a big mirror in that room, he saw his reflection in the mirror . He felt dirty and embarrassed. He heard a loud blasting sound of Mr. Grimes. Tom ran as fast as he could towards the stream. When he got there,he saw his reflection in the water.

Tom started crying because he felt dirty and ugly. When he was looking at his reflection in the water,he saw motherfish who leaded him to be kind and to help others no matter how harsh or mean they are. Mr. Grimes was looking for Tom in the stream, suddenly he fall in the water .
While Tom was swimming with motherfish he heard a splashing sound in the water, he went to check what it is and he saw Mr. Grimes drowning in the water. Tom helped him and took him up. Mr. Grimes said very bad things about Tom but Tom didn't care he was just happy that he was able to help.

Moral : "you should be kind to a person that had not shown you kindness".
